A side project from J Lohr, the wine is named for the iconic Cypress tree that grows on the coast, thriving in the maritime climate, much like the grapes which owe a lot to the ocean breezes. Classic California, coming from Arroyo Seco and the Santa Lucia Highlands, notes of peach, daffodil, and ripe orange come together with ripe notes of nectarine, peach, and bitter orange marmalade on a long, creamy finish with just a kiss of soft oak. This is that rich, tropical Chardonnay we know and love!
