Originally from Ancoma, Italy, the Pulenta family settled in Mendoza, Argentina in 1901. Since that time they have devoted their lives to the art of making wine. Carlos Pulenta holds strong to the philosophy of producing wines with a marked identity and personality. The wines are all estate-grown and the entire wine-making process is completed using gravity instead of pumps. Deep red with purple hues and aromas of red fruit, prunes, and ripe cherries. On the palate, it shows silky tannins and notes of bing cherries, dry fruits and almond and a nice compact core of plum sauce and fig.
