Scheurebe… ooh say it again. Shooy-rube-ah, shooy-roo-bah, scheurebe. Invented as a cross between Riesling and another unknown parent in 1914 by Dr. Georg Scheu. This wine is light but pulses with hyper energy. Incredibly aromatic with hints of truffle and tropical fruits like pineapple and passionfruit as well as gooseberry and cassis. Refreshing and dry, with a leafy finish followed by salt and hyacinth. This wine is one to party with. Focused on freshness, vitality and a touch of the exotic. I would sneak this into a music festival or concert.
