Ermacora’s Friulano is made from 100% Friulano (previously known as Tocai Friulano), one of the native white grapes of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia. The grapes for this wine come from three different vineyard sites that are spread out over Ermacora’s 47 hectares of vineyards. Straw yellow in the glass, the wine exhibits flavors of almonds, white fruits and flowers with a soft acidity and rich palate. This wine is a classic pairing with Prosciutto di San Daniele but also fantastic with the local Montasio cheese. The producers most popular grape and an ambassador for their territory. It showcases lovely, classic aromas of almond and flowers. Dry and round on the palate it has golden apple, pear, white peach, hints of crusty bread and almonds; this wine has depth balanced by an acidity that keeps it fresh and vibrant.
