“Zazou” derives its name from the French jazz countercultural movement that flourished during the Nazi occupation of France. Zazou’s rouge offering is a tad rebellious too; softer tannins that most Minervois wines, de-stemmed after harvest to maintain freshness, and cold macerated. Fresh berries, elegant aromas, soft olive and earth, silky structure and just a bit anti-conformist sum up this wine.
